The Crossings Church Collinsville is pleased to present 2023's Reel Truth Cinema lineup:
- Saturday September 2 - Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (rated PG)
- Saturday September 9 - Spotlight (rated R)
- Saturday September 16 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (rated PG)
Films will be showed free to the public at 2002 Mall Street at 4:00PM on Saturday afternoons.
The following Sunday morning lesson will highlight biblical truths inspired by the films.
Reel Truth Cinema's approach to blending spiritual teaching using film as a teaching tool is a concept taken from the Bible itself. Jesus, Paul and others great teachers in the Bible sometimes used examples from popular culture, art, or literature to enhance or as illustrations in their teaching. At The Crossings Church, we enjoy movies and using whatever means available - art included - to help people understand and connect with God.
We hope you'll join us for one or all of our Saturday movies at 4PM, and then join us for church the following Sunday morning at 10AM.
Child care will be available for the movies. Not every film is appropriate for children.
